    Gaia is SO potent that any idea humans can control her is pure hubris. What we CAN do is “our best not to piss her off even worse”. Though even that sees to be too much for most of us to agree to.

    I expect there was extreme weather in Texas long before there were Texans. It’s kind of how weather works. But, fear not, chances are this won’t happen again for a bit. So, patch what needs immediate fixing and let the next generation worry about the expensive stuff.

    Here in far eastern Oklahoma, we had a low of -7 last week, today it was 72. We had a pipe break in our spring house, our neighbor fixed it today, so we are back to full water again.

    I just discovered today that the ERCOT directors don’t live in Texas. How is that possible……oh, never mind, Texas Republicans.ERCOT, ya know that’s Texas being all independent and with it’s own powergrid.
