Larry Kudlow was on Fox blaming the power outages on Biden’s attack on the energy industry. He also said that the lack of unity was Biden’s fault (since, of course, it only takes one side to make an agreement).

POT Governor Abbott of Texas is faced with an emergency in his state:

    1. He begs the socialist communist federal government for a bailout.

    2. He LIES about a talking point being to blame for the emergency.

    .

And there’s Rick Perry: “Texans would be without electricity for longer than three days to keep the federal government out of their business”

Of course, when the gummint helps Texas or Texans, it certainly does NOT qualify as a handout.

Because Real Texans, like Perry, pride themselves on massive corruption and continuous LYING.

One thing for sure the government should not pay those exorbitant electric bills with tax money, that the utility companies are trying to force onto consumers. They need to be charging them for price gouging and taking them to court with high fines and penalties. Consumers need to sue and win suits about the damages to their property due to the incompetence of the Texas ‘we don’t need regulation’ electric companies.

Excellent strip, Mr. McFadden, especially the last panel. But you left out the sleaze like Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys football team and Comstock energy, which has raised natural gas prices substantially to take advantage of the crisis.

Cruz made sure to have himself recorded loading water into his constituents’s vehicles to display to

all how much he deeply cares for them and their families.

Surely the voters in Texas aren’t so stupid as to fall for this obvious political ploy to gain support in

view of his tainted reputation since last week.

    surely

I’ve been watching the news showing water pouring in homes. Does anybody in that state know how to shut off the main water valve? Here in the north there’s public service announcement several times a day whenever the expected low temp is under zero degrees.

Are these Texans? When I think of Texas all I see is a big hat and a shiny belt buckle.

Yeah, it’s pretty wild watching Republicans explain away what happened in Texas. Try to follow me(them)… Okay, so the power problems in Texas were caused by following energy ideas pushed by the Green New Deal, but that makes no sense because for years Republicans have run the Lone Star State, and they all think the Green New Deal is crazy town. Also, their constituents, when the next elections are held, will put these same Republicans back in office because the latter will run on the same platform, which is that government plays no role in the operation of cities, states, and countries, and this philosophy of governance is gospel to the former. So when the power goes out again, the Republicans in Texas will say it was all a result of following energy ideas pushed by the Green New Deal, and this time they’ll remind everybody that things could be worse, that they could be living in a state that doesn’t let its citizens buy 100-round magazines for their AR-15s…

Republicans are so good at the blame game. They have to be good at something.

Texans threaten to break from the Union over and over, and isolate themselves from the rest of the country as best they can via policy and even power grid infrastructure… but when their policies fail they want to blame it on the rest of the country – while eyeing Federal funds to bail them out…

GERRYMANDERING and deflecting blame to the Democrats are two main pillars of The Repulsican Crime Family’s efforts to sell out America to the highest bidder. (Come on Russia and China, your bids are highly anticipated by THE CRIME FAMILY.)

I voted for Ann Richards twice. Texas hasn’t been the same since GWB got us rolling downhill like a snowball headed for hell.
