I live in Pennsylvania. There are a lot of windmills and they work all year round. For all of yall that like to gloat about your warm weather just realize that while us northerners have sympathy for those suffering due to the cold there is a bit of gloat floating around in our skulls when southerners can’t handle a normal winter cold spell.
And, of course, the Republicans in Texas have learned their lessons and will take immediate action to make sure this doesn’t happen again…I almost got that written out without collapsing into laughter…
The Republicans of Texas trying to chip the ice of the wind turbines after years of failing to address the problem before when warned. . . . or warmed ? Whatever. . . ./S
Texans like to say everything is bigger in Texas I guess that includes the LIES , Abbott, Cruz, etc. Aslo you all cheaped out on your Windmills as you were warned this would happen, !

It was those cancer-causing windmills that are at fault! Or if not them, then some other thing, as long as it’s anything but the power companies.

Abbott, Cruz, Perry… it’s like Texas goes out of its way to recruit idiots to run their government.

Somehow, I don’t see him swept upward to the stars.
Reference, “Cyrano De Bergerac” Act 2, Scene 2:
DE GUICHE (who has controlled himself—smiling): Have you read ‘Don Quixote’?
CYRANO: I have! And doff my hat at th’ mad knight-errant’s name.
DE GUICHE: I counsel you to study. . .
A PORTER (appearing at back): My lord’s chair!
DE GUICHE: . . .The windmill chapter!
CYRANO (bowing): Chapter the Thirteenth.
DE GUICHE: For when one tilts ’gainst windmills—it may chance. . .
CYRANO: Tilt I ’gainst those who change with every breeze?
DE GUICHE: . . .That windmill sails may sweep you with their arm
Down—in the mire!. . .
CYRANO: Or upward—to the stars!

Gov. Abbott (Costello?) has been too busy making it hard for people to vote to worry about weather issues. It’s all AOC’s fault.

Trump Junior already declared that Abbott is a Democrat, so by GQP executive privilege Abbott is now a Democrat.

Abbott probably thinks they cause cancer, too. (Every time I read about this dope I look for the news about his partner, Lou Costello.)

In the mean time AOC has raised 2 million dollars to help Texas from it’s crisis.
