Looks like Petey had a bucket-headed classmate to hide behind. BTW, don’t these kids look thrilled?

Petey’s just like Marty McFly at the end of “Back to the Future”, only without the part about disappearing from the photo because of interference with the time line.

Marcus, the kid whose mother obsessively documents every moment of his life, can appreciate this.

A nephew taught my boys to shout, “Camera! Hit the deck!” For months I could get no more than Ethan’s foot in a photo.

Maybe Alice could render a crayon portrait of Petey and hang it on the wall…

    Petey’s having an out-of-frame experience.

Paradoxically, when Petey was younger, he could chew his whole left half off…

Scrapbook Nightmares! Petey doesn’t like to be in books, just read them.

Poor Marcus! His scrap-booking Mom must have thousands of pictures of him, and most of them embarrassing (e.g., “baby M. in the bath”). Petey at four had already developed his unique Petey-ness!
