The senators who voted for acquittal only did so because they hope for a shot at riding the greatest leviathan of moronic minions that has ever been assembled in American history.. once the orange insane clown finally falls off, of course. This leviathan was built up over years by the cynical craven conservatives starting with the ‘contract with America’ and running through the tea party as they disemboweled their own party to make it more appealing to the deplorables.

The very same republicans in the case of Idaho’s Mike Crapo, Iowa’s Chuck Grassley, Oklahoma’s James Inhofe, and, of course, the former majority leader Mitch McConnell voted for conviction of Clinton for a petty perjury pertaining to a presidential peccadillo and then voted for acquittal of the malignant narcissistic monster whose lies about the core of the democratic process they were charged with overseeing brought the wrath of his moronic minions into the very chamber where they sat!

McConnell’s vote for acquittal in the impeachment trial and subsequent speech as to why our 45th president was guilty as impeached is emblematic of the duplicitous ‘politics as warfare’ that the ‘republican revolution’ ushered in.. Now the majority of the seven senators who actually stood up to their demagogue have been censured by their state republican parties in an attempt at appeasement.. They would be ‘primaried’, if any but one from Alaska were standing for reelection rather than ready for retirement.

The “Republican Party” no longer exists as a viable Political Entity. It is now either “The GQP”, or “The RINO Party”, according to The Tangerine Traitor.

One can bet a doughnut that..had the vote been secret the outcome would have been different. Which goes to show just how cowardly some senators are.

Moscow Mitch blocked the trial while donnie was in office, then claims (contrary to SCOTUS rulings) that a “private citizen” can’t be impeached. All the while admitting donnie is guilty of the charges. His spine makes a Kline Bottle look like Flatland.

At least in the criminal trials of Trump the complicit republican senators won’t be in the jury box.

The investigating committee into the Capitol attack needs to examine every republican senator that gave information and help to the murderous attackers.

The Republican Party is a disgrace and has been since Nixon. The Orange Buffoon is wasting valuable oxygen.

Look at how your Congressmen / Congresswomen voted during the Trump impeachments, and determine if they represent the Constitution or if they represent themselves…

The situation in rural America has been deliberately designed by 1%ers to produce MAGAts. They own the news outlets that broadcast the conservative propaganda, and use them specifically for that purpose. In some states, you can’t get much else, and the talk radio is even more insane than Faux news. The main stream media has spent that same amount of time trying to be fair- presenting information they know to be questionable at best on equal footing with the truth, but the propaganda outlets still teach their listeners to distrust them. A lot of the people who are in the Faux bubble would really have to put out some serious effort to get some contact with reality, while they are constantly bombarded with conservative propaganda, including out and out lies. And, the people they have coffee with, go to church (or the bar) with etc are dealing with the same situation. That means that real people that you know and trust are backing up what you are getting from the propaganda machine. Now, consider the possibility that the world you live in is not only being exposed as fake by the real news agencies, but Faux news has now decided they can’t keep up the hoax and will have to get real on a somewhat regular basis. You are faced with the situation of having lived in a farce your entire life. Can you imagine how frightening that would be? Especially to a person who is retirement age and the world they have lived in their entire life isn’t real? Yes, it is somewhat amusing if you are a really nasty person, but if you aren’t take some pity on them and try to help them. They didn’t create the problem, the 1%ers did, and our hating each other is just what the rich need to keep us from noticing that our hatred should be for those selling the lies, not for those who believe them.
