The Constitution says people may own guns in a WELL REGULATED militia. It’s okay to regulate gun use.

But Gary, your heroes exercised both rights on the 6th of January. Didn’t you pay attention?

It’s true; Biden’s first actions were to take away all our guns, criminalize Christianity, arrest all who criticize his government and remove all conservative cartoonists from gocomics, And that’s the end of all our Constitutional Rights.

Some of those “militias” could do with a touch more “well regulated” Mr. Varvel…

If I thought the 2nd amendment had been interpreted correctly, I’d be concerned. But modern republican interpretation is so obviously inaccurate that it strains credulity beyond its limits.

I’ve never understood how background checks and a waiting period before buying a gun were infringing on anyone’s right to bear arms. People with a criminal history or mental illness, who might harm themselves or others, shouldn’t have guns. If’n you’re not mentally ill and don’t have a criminal history, you can buy all the guns you like, albeit, perhaps with a slight delay.

Gary, you are confusing me. Didn’t President Obama take away all your guns (personally) the day he was inaugurated?

I think I should also address the accusation about the first amendment. Which part? The part that ensures people the right to occupy the capital and attempt to assasinate public figures, or the part that lets you carry an AK47 provided you are white in crowds hunting in downtown St Louis, Portland, Spokane, etc. Or the freedom of assembly to spread disease? It’s simple.All gun owners must pass a psychological test every few years or they lose their guns. Only those that know they’d fail would object.
