Lots of people feel that way about their family.

I think I would rather have a sprint run in the family than have it jog at a leisurely pace. To me, who is ill qualified to speak on the subject I might add, a sprint is over pretty quickly, then back to life as normal for a while. A jog on the other hand, that’s what they save for marathons.

I wonder if Wil would’ve known about any misfortune had Marty not mentioned it. My young life could’ve been one of misfortune. Living off my mother’s low pay as a teacher, back when their pay was just a little higher than garbage collector, we learned to get by. I looked forward to a plate of salmon and grits for dinner. When I needed shorts, we’d cut off some old pants. But, I didn’t seem to think there was anything amiss with our lifestyle. All was as it should be. It was only after we got a TV that we realized that other’s lives were better in the material sense. I guess I learned the joys of being satisfied with what I had. It was enough.

I definitely agree with Gladys on that one. (A shocker) They EARNED that family crest and are carrying on its tradition……
