After seeing the evidence provided (many left the Senate so they wouldn’t) “one” might think there should be at least a minimum of 17 Republicans to vote to convict. Maybe I’m the only “ONE”. . . . but I know a few more would agree.
I watched the Republican response. It basically consisted of clips of every time a Democrat has used the word “fight”, or defended the right to demonstrate peacefully. Which might be relevant to the situation, if they had invited their audience to assemble on a specific day in a specific place, following up Gulliani and Trump Junior, who were much more ballistic about the word “fight”. If they had known that they were talking to people who had planned to take the capitol building and were screaming for Pelosi’s and Pence’s heads etc., or that of any official, it might be relevant. If they had known that they were talking to people who were carrying zip ties, etc. if might be relevant. Since none of that is true, it was three hours of " I know you are, but what am I". There’s an easy answer to that question. What you are is GUILTY.
With the trial ending, the party of boneless cowards will continue supporting the treasonist pig! What hold does he have on them? He’s a lying cheating deceiving POS! We can expect to see him in the news everyday now, while he regroups and plots his next insurrection….he said it is only the beginning…and since they gave him free reign, he’ll do it agin without reservation!
