“Many people believe…” is classic Diaper Don BS used by such slime buckets and traitors as Ted Cruz. Many people believed at one point that the sun and planets revolved around a stationary earth. That doesn’t make it true!
Moving on…
The jury does include is co-conspirators who should all have been ejected from the Senate prior to this hearing for not upholding their sworn oaths.
Which brings us to the meaningless punchline, which now falls flat with all the BS removed.
Fail. Fail. FAIL.
Steve Kelley is as good at cartooning as Bruce Castor is at lawyering.
Aside from this cartoon’s dishonesty, it is also nonsensical. We start with the “Many believe” opening. Who cares if many believe that what Trump said does not constitute a crime? MANY MORE believe that it was a blatant and heinous crime.
And it is absolutely true that many in the senate are co-conspirators. Hawley urged them on, gave them kudos. He is a bad person. Ted Cruz did the same, though he cowers more.
As for … this is supposed to be Hillary? What??? What “jury tampering” could you possibly be talking about? And if it’s supposed to be someone in congress currently, 1) apparently Kelley can only draw Hillary for his bogeywoman, and 2) still what? Nothing in that last panel has any bearing on any reality.
A commenter on Bok today said that he is challenging Payne for stupidest alt-right cartoonist. Mr. Kelley has firmly thrown his hat into the ring today, this one is just plain not in left field but out of the ball park in lack of logic.
Should Eric CCP Swalwell face censure or some sort of consequences for submitting the text message of a woman as evidence after he altered it? Discuss.
Why are the same republicans who tried to undermine the American election also jurors? Obviously there will not be a fair trial as lying cheating thieving election rigging covid spreading racist republicans are totally prejudiced.
Not a problem… this trial had little to do with Trump… more so its the GOP on trial. The evidence displayed was clear cut, no one in their right mind can think otherwise … not that we needed evidence in the first place, we all saw what happened. But the GOP must now show the whole country what is more important to them… catering to the deplorable trump base to keep their senate seats, or doing their duty and doing what is best for our country. They will have to go on record for all of history as either finally showing integrity or condoning an insurrection on our CAPITOL that took the life of a brave officer, bludgeoned to death with a fking American Flag… FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. … I mean showing loyalty to Trump has landed Michael Cohen and many others in jail, cost the jobs of many more, and lost the GOP both the white house and both houses of congress… and that was BEFORE the violent coup… so I’m really failing to see the logic behind the continued fealty to a conman… But the GOP is gonna GOP.
Great cartoon! Very flattering of Madame Pelosi – or rather as flattering as she deserves. She and her uncle Chuckie are the real criminals in Washington. Lucky for them they can’t be charged with perjury and fraud for comments made on the Senate and House floor.

What is wrong with Skelley? Did he have an aneurysm? Did a stroke deprive him of any cogent thought? What is this drivel he’s been putting out lately?
BubbleTape Premium Member about 3 years ago
No, because that is not jury tampering. Next stupid question.

Best comic of the week.

Cruz, Graham and Lee conferred with Trump’s lawyers. That makes them co-conspsirators. It’s ridiculous to try to defend them.

Huh?!! Did Kelley take a cartoon from 5 years ago and repurpose it?

Odd to have a jury whose mind was made up prior to the hearing. American justice exposed.

Kelley demonstrates that he, like the COVID-19 Denier-in-Chief, doesn’t believe in America’s electoral process!

No the Republicans are tampering with the Jury WHEN THE SENATE (Jurors) MEET WITH THE DEFENSE COUNCIL
I can’t tell if that is Jury Tampering or Conspiracy but IT IS STILL TREASON by Giving aid and comfort to insurrectionists.

Ah, well. At least Skelley didn’t refer to “cancel culture”. This time.

Hillary, sadly, is no longer relevant. Why can’t Skelley and other right wingers get over her? Puzzling.

How depraved do you have to go by bringing HRC into the impeachment discussion? Pathetic.

How can one tamper with a jury that had already loudly and publicly shouted it’s predetermined verdict before the trial even started?
