A little something I sent to my Senators:

Dear Senator x,

Since January 20, 2021, I have become increasingly alarmed with what decisions are being made in Washington D.C. To me, based on news reports from both liberal and conservative organizations, the Administration is becoming increasingly authoritarian and seems to just be grabbing power away from the people who elected them. Sadly, based on your statements and actions over the last month, I see this same tendency in you, sir. So, with all due respect I’m warning you to “back off.” I see no indication to convince me that the “unity” you all speak of is anything other than a delusional fantasy that the Democrats seem to cling onto. Because of what I see, I see no path for “unity” between my deep beliefs of American Greatness and whatever it is you Democrats apparently believe. We seem not even to hold the same core values, anymore! From my viewpoint, the difference in our world views cannot be squared. The Democrats, therefore, have become dangerous to everything I consider as American. Take some time to reflect on what I’m saying here. There are many others in my circle of friends that are expressing the same worries and frustrations. We all live in a Republic. Start governing that way. Actions matter.

The Repulsican Crime Family isn’t in favor of coming together. They want bipartisanship with their party in charge regardless of numbers actually selected by the voters.

The way they constantly screw eachother you’d think they’d come together now & then.

Never because each side wants to the other one to come to them to get together.

I am beginning to think that attaching your fortunes to any political party at this point in time is counterproductive. Better to attach yourselves to being American with those ideals that have taken us so very far over our ~230-year journey. Can we just begin rediscovering what those baseline ideals really are? We must come to terms that, alas, we are a product of them.

Coming together for you guys means buying lies………….so, bleep off.
