    Insurrection?

Hell, it was a failed coup! I hate it when they water down what happens.

Frankly I love turning on the evening news with most of the time not being devoted to, “Here’s a list of stupid tweets by the President, with a defense of his attacks on science and history by fawning sycophants in Congress.”

Didn’t you hear? The insurgency moved to the Middle East with air strikes in Syria, and for good measure, send the B-52s to show that region how much we care about their security.

The Boston Tea Party was in 1773. The Revolutionary War didn’t begin until three years later. The coup against the coup isn’t over yet. Not by a long shot. The individual States are beginning to resist the Federal Establishment daily.

We got through March 4th with no further attempts. . .so is March 20th the new date to “take our government back” and “MAGA”?

Winning an election is in no way equivalent to an insurgency. Sorry to be a party pooper.

As Ben Franklin says in “1776” : "Remember, a revolution is ONLY bad when it’s in the third person, such as ‘Their Revolution’. When it’s in the first person, such as ‘Our Revolution’, it’s fine!

The BREAKING NEWS tags finally got me. Just couldn’t take anymore of that flash trash. The only thing my DVR picks up now is the 10 minutes of local weather. TCM is selling old dreams. HD Net is selling mayhem. Have no idea what passes for programming on the other 2000 channels. All those advertising dollars are wasted on me. The world is getting smaller.

Somebody has to go first, so it might as well be me. Here goes:

    Quadrillion!

Now you can legitimately say, 10-15 years from now, that you were there when the term first entered the public discourse.

All-righty then! When-ever Biden presents his speech to Congress (the very first one is not an official “State of the Union”), do we need to worry about another potential riot by the MAGAmaniacs?

We live in an era of lowered expectations. If the POTUS isn’t tweeting schoolyard insults multiple times each day it feels like a step forward instead of normal behavior we should take for granted.

FOX News. ? Here’s MY idea of FOX:

Fox went out on a chilly night

Prayed to the moon for to give him light

For was many a mile to go that night

    Before he reached the town-o

    The town-o the town-o,

Many a mile to go that night

    Before he reached the town.

Well he ran till he got to a great big pen

Where the ducks and the geese were kept therein

Said a coupla you gonna grease my chin

    Before I leave this town-o

    Town-o this town-o,

A coupla you gonna grease my chin

    Before I leave this town.

To be continued at a future date.
