BIG NATE AND THE MURDER MYSTERY: PART 3

Nate walks into the teacher’s lounge, seeing Coach Calhoun, Ms. Shipulski, Mr. Rosa, Mrs. Brindle, and School Picture Guy’s dead bodies. He is shocked by this.

Nate: Oh my… did the guy with the shadow… kill all of them?

The rest of the students run into the lounge. They scream as they see bodies. Some of them are crying by this. Teddy, Francis, Chad, and Dee Dee enter the lounge and see Nate standing in the middle of it, as if he froze.

Chad: OH MY GO-

Chad sees the dead body of Mrs. Brindle. She used to cook tasty stuff for her class, including Chad. Chad lies down and cries.

Chad: Why… Mrs. Brindle… no…

Nate: Yeah, I know Chad…

Teddy: Oh boy. Five dead bodies lying around in this room. Someone’s definitely going around doing this.

Principal Nichols enters the teacher’s lounge, unaware of what happened. He sees the students in the lounge, crying over the dead bodies and going around screaming. They all turn to him.

Principal Nichols: Uh… hey kids! Um, what seems to be the problem here? Something wrong?

The students feel that he is s̶u̶s̶ suspicious, including Nate and his pals. They look at Nichols for a second, thinking he caused the murders. They pick him up and carry him to the gym door.

Principal Nichols: Hey, wha- what’s happening?!

The open the unlocked gym door, and throw Principal Nichols out the door, sending him into outer space, killing him.

Weird dream last night about big nate. I thought i was bringing my dog to school but then I didn’t want to get on to the bus with a dog. It was very weird.

The train to the capital was like the fastest I’ve ever seen. There was more food than I’ve ever seen. Apparently the capital has been hogging like everything. Ah well. Not like it’s gonna matter to me, I’m going to die soon. Don’t say that, I told myself. I could win. Yea right, I’ll win against boys twice my size that trained for their entire lives. In the training room, we learned how to use weapons and stuff. We were told we only had a few days to prepare. I started learning knives, bows, and swords, but mostly knives, because Calhoun said they pop up the most in the arena. When I was training, some Jerk with black hair from district 2 bumped into me. “Woooooooo! Sorry! Didn’t see you there! You must be too skinny!” His posse(all career tributes, big surprise.) “Shut up,” I said, feeling my face turn red. “At least I’m not a capital lapdog,” “Careful what you say, stupid. That’s treason,” Said the boy, hushing up. Well, I guess I learned something. Even the capital’s lap dogs are scared of the capital. I learned later that boy was Marcus, and he bullied everyone who wasn’t a career. Well, better eat up and train, gonna savor that last moment of my life.

Plot twist: The things Spitsy rolled in contain a foreign contaminant from outer space which makes the entire world shut down and in a deadly pandemic. All of the countries slowly degrade to anarchy and slowly everyone on earth dies.

I have 2 bunnies, one’s named Waffles, the other is Cedar. (BTW, we didn’t name them, the animal rescue we got them from did. I think they have cute names though!)
