I don’t think he’d have the option of refusing if he were subpoenaed.

As Schumer said, if he doesn’t testify, he’ll leave no doubt as to his guilt. Anyway, everybody is sick of his whining.

Trump is a wienie, he will never admit guilt, he will never testify, They will have to put him in a straight jacket and chains to ever get him on the stand, then he will plead the fifth!

Dirt bag mental incompetent Trump can never testify, he would convict himself in the first 3 sentences. And this is the god of the Republicans, they are sick.

Just like before, his lawyers won’t let him. He lies more now than the first time. He won’t call himself the former president nor will he let others. Everything associated with him is 45th president. So, yeah, he’s learned his lesson.

The letter inviting him to testify was quite interesting, stating that he can’t be removed from office since he’s already out, BUT, since he’s already out, he is no longer protected by “Presidential Immunity”, and that if he DOESN’T testify, it could cast grave doubts as to his innocence, since an innocent man would want to testify to clear his name…

He’s not going to testify. Apparently, if he ignores them, everything will blow over. Meanwhile, in a large Mid-Atlantic state well to the north of Manteca-a-lo-largo …

Trump would happily testify- probably even demand to do so, make a complete disaster of the testimony, believe he did a “perfect” testimony, and his followers would agree with him.

With Trump out of office, and losing power, it will be interesting if Republicans will continue to try to protect him from himself (perjuring)…

Any lawyer who lets him testify other than taking the fifth, should be disbarred

Can’t he be compelled to testify if he doesn’t plead guilty to charges of sedition?

The best part of the cartoon is the background with the rolling eyes and the hands over the eyes and the general disbelief at what they are hearing.

Nothing but a coward. Hillary has more balls than him, she testified before Congress for 11 hours.
