I had a Art Major roommate in college that did that. Until the last 2 weeks of the term he didn’t do anything, apparently. When I asked him about it he said he was “gathering inspiration”. Uh huh, BUT, for the last 2 weeks he never stopped moving and would turn out oils, pastels, etchings, sculptures, etc. etc. etc. After the 1st semester I never doubted him again.
