I’d say that “thinking out loud” is a good way to keep the mind sharp and to keep the ideas fresh.

OK so we have ; Me , Myself and I …. Makes 3 to talk to ;-)

Sometimes _ quite often, as a matter of fact – something sound good when it is rattling around in your head, but when you open your mouth and let that though fall into the harsh light of day, it is obviously not as clever as you imagined.

We used to say that talking to yourself wasn’t a bad thing. It’s when you start answering yourself that the men in their little white coats come to get you!

I’ve always said if you don’t havd anyone else of intelligence to talk to, talk to yourself.

Sometimes a comment here sounds good rattling around in my head, but after I type it out and read it, I delete it…

I even curse out loud sometimes with no one around. My wife gives me heck but sometimes aggravating things happen.

We Pluggers also talk a lot to ourselves while watching television.

Mebbe, but I would be holding a pen.

I also talk to inanimate objects, even out in stores (when I let my guard down).

Sometimes you just have to address your thoughts to the most intelligent, understanding person in the room.

Actually, 8 is SCHNAPPS, 12 is GURU, 15 is ODOR and 424 is ‘EAT KOSHER’ on the official USA Today puzzling April 28, 2019 standard deviation legend, and almost 2 years later neither DOWN nor ACROSS becomes pertinent to the person who is sharp enough to remember that 64 is OKRA and 73 is BANDANA.
