To repeat myself—The thing about conspiracy theories—they take away all the burden of actually having to think, thus eliminating all that onerous labor of seeking out and examining evidence, and all that hard mental work of reasoning and coming to logical conclusions based on facts (Real provable, reproducible facts, not “alternative” facts). Too many people prefer to travel that wide inviting road … January 6 showed us where that road leads!
I was wondering where THE GQP finds its Nutcases, At first I thought there were getting them off the streets you know those unfortunate people pushing shopping carts piled high with what not mumbling to themselves !
This is what we’ve come to? I’m not in favor of standards for being in Congress, but there are standards for being a rational human being. If democracy is going to work, citizens have to have a certain level of knowledge and decency.
It’s an old maxim that any form of representative government will have elected officials who reflect as sort of the least common denominator the average voters who elected them. If that is the case, “Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid.”
Seems like Congress has become the preferred choice for many individuals that really belong in mental institutions instead. The padded cell crowd knows you can’t beat the benefits and the freedom. If you can’t really function in society go into politics.
Yes, she’s a ratbag. However without the support of a lot of like minded ratbags, she would still be in the padded cell. Says more about the mentality of the electorate than it does about her.

An easy solution would be to put her back in the asylum and this time, lose the key.

If you worked for a private employer, and were overheard, talking the crazy crap that she spouts, you’d be sitting on the curb before day’s end.

Frankly, if a person can’t pass a security clearance before they run for office, they shouldn’t be allowed one just because they won an election.
