    The English poet and essayist Shelley (1792 – 1822) wrote the following poem during times rather similar to the situation in the United States today:

    ”England in 1819”

    An old, mad, blind, despised, and dying King;

    Princes, the dregs of their dull race, who flow

    Through public scorn,—mud from a muddy spring;

    Rulers who neither see nor feel nor know,

    But leechlike to their fainting country cling

    Till they drop, blind in blood, without a blow

    A people starved and stabbed in th’ untilled field;

    An army, whom liberticide and prey

    Makes as a two-edged sword to all who wield;

    Golden and sanguine laws which tempt and slay;

    Religion Christless, Godless—a book sealed;

    A senate, Time’s worst statute, unrepealed—

    Are graves from which a glorious Phantom may

    Burst, to illumine our tempestuous day.

    It comes out that Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene of Georgia, a QAnon supporter, advocated on Facebook the murder of Democratic leaders prior to Ms. Greene being elected in 2018. So who is surprised that the Senate Republicans ignore a violent and seditious act by former president Trump? It’s become their go-to philosophy.

    Trump loves being a power broker and his toadies have let him continue to weld his power even out of office. In the words of Lord Acton ,“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men…”

    Kind of amazing what some republican senators want to brush under the rug. Like it doesn’t matter, move on. Mind they do have their priorities.. still looking for Hillary’s emails.. Benghazi is still not “done”.. undocumented “aliens” must be given the bums rush.

    American justice is really something to behold.

    The party system has some serious flaws. The history of impeachment in the US shows that the members of the parties overwhelmingly look to the interests of the party, or perhaps to their interests within the party, instead of making independent judgments.

    Neoconman brings out a thot, when republicans claimed that if #45 lost, no republican would ever be elected again, they may have known #45 would sabotage the party and its members.

    Republicans are afraid of their own murderous constituents, so they will vote for dictatorship.

    In the Capitol, Dems are afraid the armed Republicans are going to kill them.

    Republicans are an anti-democracy violent minority that needs to be suppressed.

    Captain Scott Walden has been placed on administrative leave and “the internal investigation could and may be pending termination,” Flomaton Police Chief Charles Thompson said.

    While responding to a Facebook post attacking Biden voters, liberals and the media, Walden said, “They need to line up ev1 (sic) of them and put a bullet in their skull for treason.”

    A reading from the 18th chapter of the Book of the Disingenuous:

    Then Uncle Sam said, “The outcry against the Republican Party is so great and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.”Uncle Sam turned away and went toward the D of C, but Abe L. remained standing before him. Abe L. approached and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? What if there are forty righteous Republicans in the Senate? Will you really sweep the party away and not spare them if 40 are righteous? Far be it from you to do such a thing—to banish the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not Uncle Sam do right?”Uncle Sam said, “If I find 40 righteous Republicans Senators in the city of Washington, I will spare the party for their sake.”Then Abe L. spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to Uncle Sam, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, what if the number of the righteous is 5 less than 40? Will you destroy the whole party for lack of 5 people?”“If I find 35 there,” he said, “I will not destroy the party.”Once again he spoke to him, “What if only 30 are found there?”He said, “For the sake of 30, I will not do it.”Then he said, “May Uncle Sam not be angry, but let me speak. What if only 25 can be found there?”He answered, “I will not do it if I find 25 there.”Abe L. said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to Uncle Sam, what if only 20 can be found there?”He said, “For the sake of 20, I will not destroy it.”Then he said, “May Uncle Sam not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only 17 can be found there?”He answered, “For the sake of 17, I will not destroy it.”

    But Abe, that’s it, buddy. As low as I can go, with any chance to preserve our precious democracy. Don’t ask no more, ‘cause after that, I’m warmin’ up them brimstones!

    Whether or not Trump is convicted, I want all the testimony and evidence to be made public.

    And I think that any Senator who refuses to be present to listen to it all should not be allowed to vote, though I’m afraid that the Constitution doesn’t make that a requirement.

    ‘Mike Pence is in fear for his life because of Donald Trump’

    “We’re now talking about a movement and a president that inspired people to come to Capitol Hill to try to kill, their words not mine, the vice president of the United States and the speaker of the House. and guess what, Mike Pence is now in Indiana because of Donald Trump, trying to lay low because there are people now who have Mike Pence on their hit list because of Donald Trump,” he continued. “Not because of Don Lemon. Not because of Rachel Maddow. Not because of Jake Tapper. Not because of the New York Times editorial page. Not because of the Washington Post — and good luck, Marty Baron — Mike Pence is in fear for his life because of Donald J. Trump.”

    Republicans are total trouble making wacko conspiracy believing psychopaths.

    .

    Marjorie Taylor Greene Supported Clinton Child Murder Conspiracy Theory Before Running for Congress

    The evidence-free conspiracy alleges that an underground video shows Clinton and her long-serving aide Huma Abedin taking part in a Satanic ritual that included murdering a young girl by “filleting” her face off and drinking her blood. Greene seemingly signaled her approval of the theory when commenting on a reply to an image she posted of Trump with the mother of Miosotis Familia, a New York Police Department detective who was murdered in the previous year.

    “This is the mother of a NYPD officer who watched a horrific video seized on anthony weiners laptop of huma and hillary filleting a childs face,” a Facebook user commented on Greene’s post. “This was another hillary hit.”

    “Yes Familia,” Greene responded. “I post things sometimes to see who knows things. Most the time people don’t. I’m glad to see your comment. I’ve decided it’s time to start doing a lot more videos and engage further in the fight. Most people honestly don’t know so much. The msm [mainstream media] disinformation warfare has won for too long!”

    Keep in mind that this was BEFORE they realized TRUMP would NOT give them PARDONS for following HIS orders. That must have come as a surprise for those set out to hang the Vice President and kill others…" just following orders".

    All the Republicans now agree The Capitol Building takeover was BAD, but not BAD ENOUGH TO VOTE AGAINST TRUMP IN THE SENATE TRIAL ? We’ll see, as will the World.
