Art Linkletter’s House Party and the segment was “Kids Say the Darndest Things”. Judging by the audience reaction, it was hilarious but being a kid myself at the time, my reaction was “so?”.
I came upon Art Linkletter sitting in the Kitchen at the Fontainebleau Hotel. He was getting ready to give a talk at a seminar that I was attending. I remember when I shook his hand, it was the softest male hand I had ever felt.

My favorites were when he would ask a kid, “What did mommy and daddy tell you not to talk about?”
