I agree that SOME reporters are like that. But most of them, I believe (now that the White House beat isn’t a punishment detail), are more focused on things that matter.
Like having a daily press meeting from day one, but some of the press need to ask important questions during these times. Not asking if Biden wants to change the colors on Air Force One.
It seems likely that the note was constructed using words cut out of various tabloid and magazine headlines and pasted on the sheet. But what publications would Donald Trump ever read? Certainly, “The National Enquirer,” for one.
Yep looks like journalist are going to have to go out and find other things to report on. It was so easy the last four years when the news, stupid as it was, came to them all day every day, all night every night.
Those journalists who are able to settle into the relative boredom of not being lied to and adapt to a diet of fact based information will be able to increase their own credibility and grow in their jobs. Those who did better with the Trump brand can go work for the National Enquirer.
“The Media” needs to stop putting T***** face on TV every 10 minutes. They need to arrive at the point where he should not be given a stage, at any time, anywhere, for any reason. He committed the crime of sedition and treason. It’s time we call it for what it is, and hold him and his enablers responsible. Kumbaya can wait awhile.
I think the media has to debrief from the abuse…and maybe they will actually wake up to the fact that their job is not “entertainment” but facts. Long before “him” there was an issue, and speculation took the greater part of their time than facts. Got to fill 24 hours a day, and they’d repeat the same stories over and over.
These United States are enormous, and every state is important. News of what is happening across the country (other than explosions and natural devastation) is important – we all should be aware of what is happening to our fellow Americans socially and economically, as well as politically. We the People across America deserve to be heard, really heard, and appreciated.
In addition, there was and is a whole world out there of news not being covered. The assumption is that Americans don’t find news from other countries interesting (except for lunacy and war zones), and certainly not applicable to themselves. Maybe that was and is in its presentation. Presentation is for the media to decide.

Stephen Colbert had the best take on Trump’s letter to Biden. According to Stephen, it read;
Hey Joe, I’ll give you ten million dollars for a pardon. P.S. Can I borrow ten million dollars?

Look toward the future but don’t forget the crimes of the past. No reconciliation can come before punishing the high crimes.

One can tell Joe wants to heal the country, he has not released video of the mess the last tenants (read pigs) left the place in.

It wasn’t a letter. It was the new breakfest menu from Mcdonalds Trump forgot to take with him.

Now most of “those” reporters will ask Old Joe fluff questions. No one will toughsubstantial questions. So sad!
