If 45 voters will act like adults willing to fix the problems rather than screaming toddlers spewing lies and throwing tantrums, they have a very good chance of finding a welcome. Unity does NOT mean just giving Rethuglicans their own way and letting them continue to act like toxic criminals.

I’m afraid the current euphoria is going to result in some bad decisions. Sure, the Republicans are all delighted to work together, kumbaya incorporated, at least they say so until some work actually needs to be done. Then they will have exactly the same primary agenda that they had during Obama’s administration, to obstruct as much as possible to make Biden look as incompetent as possible and retake the White House in four years. Congress needs to review the rules, and since they are in power, rewrite them to give as much power as possible to the Democrats, so they can make as much progress as possible. Get rid of the filibuster and life becomes much easier. They can rewrite the rules with each new congress, and there is no reason to buy into the “make nice” & “achieve unity” rhetoric of Republicans who are currently all for letting bygones be bygones and expecting concessions when they have lost all power to bargain. They are like the snake who needed a ride to be rescued. WE KNOW THEY ARE SNAKES, DON’T TAKE THEM IN. BETTER YET DON’T BE TAKEN IN BY THEM!!!!!

At lest Biden will include Trump voters Trump hated all voters who did not support him. Big difference.

Dana, like most supporters of Il Douche, is amorally opposed to consequences of any kind, even for sedition.
