We got 1 inch of snow. I got up a 3AM to see if it had snowed and everything was white. It was gone by noon. Annnd that was winter in Vegas.

Today is:

National Chocolate Cake Day. That sounds good to me! It’s been several months since I’ve baked a cake.

Library Shelfie Day. The fourth Wednesday in January offers a unique opportunity for book lovers on Library Shelfie Day.Some collectors of books tend to arrange their collections so their spines can be admired pleasantly. Others have a system of organization that results in an alternative art form. However our books are organized on the shelf, they are meant to be photographed and shared on social media.

I have a lot of books, but I just stick them on shelves – usually grouping them by author. But I’d never think of taking a picture of my bookshelves and posting it on social media

Screechcaphonic? That’s a hard pass for me.

Calling what cats produce a song is really stretching the meaning of the word
