    Signed “The Stump”..

Tonight Biden said the letter was private, and he certainly would not reveal the contents until he had a conversation with Trump. Definitely a gentleman.

As a side note, someone posted this the other day.. it’s cathartic. And maybe, just maybe, it’s at Trump’s reading comprehension level.

The news media asked Biden if he found a note in the desk. Biden said he didn’t know as the desk was missing from the Oval Office.

High though his titles, proud his name,Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;Despite those titles, power, and pelf,The wretch, concentred all in self,Living, shall forfeit fair renown,And, doubly dying, shall go downTo the vile dust, from whence he sprung,Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung.

I have no doubt someone else wrote it and that they virtually forced Trump to copy it down. I also have little doubt that he came close to choking on the words as he wrote them, and that he likely considered going off script more than once. Nobody believes he wrote anything helpful or supportive of his own volition.

If the letter is as “generous” as Biden says it is, then it’s a dead certainty that not only didn’t Trump write that letter, he has no idea that it was written and is furious that someone did.

Too bad he lost his twitter and facebook access – and can’t tell us how mad he is. /s

When Biden says that Trumps letter was generous, it’s made me wonder if the letter was that Biden could have a free night at a Trump hotel, or something like that. Calling it generous was the best spin Biden could put on it.

Part 2 Former Donald Trump – Bad sideAlmost all politicians are egotistical and narcissists, that include President Trump. There is an agility to successful narcissism that Trump never mastered. When campaigning for others, he would mention them, but the tenor of his remarks revolved around himself, and his grievances. When he spoke on January 6th at the “Save America” rally, he was once again tooabsorbed in his grievances to read the mood of the crowd. The idea that his behavior was “insurrectionist” is ridiculous. But his behavior was, as I noted, irresponsible. In many ways, Trump has superb political instincts. However, in this instance, hisself-absorption blinkered his judgement. It was a great failure. The irony about Trump is that his virtues are nearly inextricable from his flaws. I neverminded his tweets, because they seemed like just another facet of his independentspirit. The side of his personality that drove the establishment crazy was the side I found refreshing. I liked when he went after preening charlatans like Jim Acosta, when he called the media “fake news”, or when he taunted politicians who crossed him.A friend wrote me, “Donald Trump lacks one attribute of a great politician,self-discipline, and it ruined him. That may be the case, but Trump has often been down and out. He has somehow performed his Lazarus act. We will see.Article culled from Roger Kimball, writing in The Epoch Times.
