Benson mislabelled the monster overhanging the event. It should say “Trump.”

Yes, it’s very likely to be a dark winter. For over 400,000 Americans, very dark. But who brought us here, Ms. Benson? The creator of all this chaos has finally slunk out of Washington, to the sound of The Village People’s “YMCA.” Is it still no worse than the flu? Was the assault on the Capital just a big misunderstanding? Has any evidence of “The Steal” finally surfaced? But I’m glad to see you’ve refreshed your poisoned pen – you’re going to need it in the days ahead.

This is in reference to a statement by Biden in the second Presidential debate. Trump had been campaigning that we were “rounding the corner”. We’re now at over 400,000 dead, and the first act of this new administration is to launch a larger Federal response to the pandemic.

So Lisa, what’s the point of your cartoon? That this administration will founder on the response?

Dark winter? What do you call the past four years?!! 400,000 dead, our allies alienated, a humanitarian crisis at the southern border, a swamp of corruption that has only deepened. I have no love for democrats, but I am breathing a sigh of relief today. The Republican Party will need a deep, deep cleansing before I ever consider returning.

I live on the left coast, so I had to actually get up on time for a change to watch the inauguration speech. I was inspired, pleased, and generally happy with what he said and did.

And he DID mention that we’re in a very dark and dangerous time. Nice to hear the truth from the President for a change, eh?

The Trump/Republican agenda for COVID-19 from the git-go was to promote it burning through the entire population, and to do so as fast as possible, in order to get back to business – the human and other costs be damned. His so-called ‘plans’ for dealing with it were, accordingly, nonexistent. You are, in a sense, right, Lisa. Biden is faced with starting literally from scratch.

Sit back an watch. This cartoon will not age well.

Trump’s plague isn’t going to magically disappear now that Biden is in office. It is out of control and we can only wear our masks, stay away from other people and wait for our shots. The way to make a plague disappear is to never let it get out of control in the first place. In 2018, the White House’s National Security Council Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense mission was the same as when the Obama administration established it after the Ebola epidemic of 2014: to do everything possible within the vast powers and resources of the U.S. government to prepare for the next disease outbreak and prevent it from becoming an epidemic or pandemic. They set up clinics to monitor 15 places that were considered “hot spots”- including 44 people in a clinic in the Chinese province where Trump’s plague began. The plan was to was to immediately sent in enough people to track and treat so that it was shut down at the source. In 2018, Trump’s administration defunded the office, shutting down the clinics.. It’s impossible to assess the full impact of this decision, but it is quite likely that it would have stopped the pandemic while it was still in China. That makes Trump responsible for deaths not just in America, but world wide.

Here’s the best way to counter paranoia and unreasonable suspicion: Tell a person in advance what options you are legally considering to defeat liars and criminals, and then follow through with at lest one of your options. At least we now know Freddie Handel’s Messiah’ is isn’t trying to stay in the oval office, so there should be no more strong delusions.

It’s those men like Luke Campbell Donald you have to be suspicious of.

Ms. Benson – now you know what it feels like to be attacked by so many people who could be retrained by enlisting in the military since the age restriction has just been raised to 80. I don’t think like Jocelyn Benson, and I appreciate your use of the freedom of expression. Thankfully, you did not insult an actual bumblebee in your reasonable ‘check bouncer’ joke. I thought maybe some dental school jokes would come out from Marquette students in this rare form of a FREE art display. I won’t attack you, I’m as peaceful as George Benson.
