Tessi is a take charge kind of gal, even though she would never take one. Shouldn’t the AD make decisions as important as in game announcer? Who signs off on Vic’s compensation package of a frank and a drink? Who will send the Lady ’Larks charging out of the locker room with an encouraging swat on the cheeks Mimi or Vic? Snark Nation deserves answers.
Vic will get nothing and like it for taking on the additional duties. Mimi owns their a$$es and is the only one who can slap them – and apparently not lose her job and be sued. It’s good to be part of the Gilfather crime family.

Just in case it got buried in the replies to the comments, let me ask in all seriousness (as opposed to in all reality since I don’t want to infringe the trademark), what was the last Gil Thorp story arc that you actually liked? And for these purposes, I’m NOT including Mopped Up Thorp, because we all like all of those.

As I mentioned in a comment above, that MST3K plate was used by someone else in the past in this strip. Is it passed along from student to student throughout the years? Of course the best part is that MST3K hasn’t been popular/relevant in many years. So of course in Milford it’s the latest thing. But why the heck is Doug using it? All he cares about is racing, why doesn’t he have a racing related plate?
And now Vic is leaving his goody two shoes persona behind, as he takes up smoking. And possibly, it might be drugs! Say it ain’t so!
And speaking of ain’t so, if you think there will not be a Mopped Up Thorp today, it ain’t so!
