Hmm. And why is the National Guard there? That’s right. Republican led terrorists assaulted and desecrated the US Capitol to kill democratic senators and have sworn an armed assault on the inauguration.Maybe, once the republicans are finally gone, this country can get be the peaceful democracy it was meant to be.

If it wasn’t for the behavior of Trump supporters it wouldn’t be necessary.

Either Varvel has no idea what the old Soviet military parades looked like or he’s lying… or (more likely) both.

There are no tanks and missiles nor planes roaring overhead, and the National Guard (not army “soldiers”) are not marching, but standing guard duty.

Varvel no longer even tries to write for readers who like his stuff. He knows his largest audience consists of those who get some kind of schadenfreude from reading his idiocy.

Well Varvel obviously didn’t watch the inauguration if he’s spewing this gibberish. It was actually very classy and done with style and hope.
