Like, Oh my God!

Nice red shoes!! (Not meant as slang. I just love red shoes!!)

Yesterday’s slang sometimes becomes today’s common usage.

Cleveland Browns and Murphy Brown. QB slang ONE in the corner for TD and he sprints around.

Without slang, I could not move the dialog forward, and was relegated to riding the bench for the remainder of the game. In retrospect, I should have taken up Tadpole instead.

This could be a problem; I often don’t know what I mean.

Say what you mean, and then do what you say.

The Dutch word “slang” means “snake”, as in boomslang (tree snake).

Let the slang words ride…. ride captain, ride.

Keep your pecker up.

So, do you accept old slang, or absolutely none? What if a slang ends up mainstream and incorporated into popular reference dictionaries? Reclining minds want to know.
