“Ears” to a better prepared meal.

Must be a very loud alarm !

Marm’s taking no chances though!

That smoke alarm is nothing for you compared to the way Canine-Americans perceive it.

I was dog sitting 3 dogs and decided to bake something, not realizing that the oven needed to be cleaned. The smoke from the oven set off the smoke detector, which completely freaked out the dogs. For a few minutes I was running back and forth, turning off the oven and trying to air it out, attempting to clear the smoke from the detector, and trying to calm down the dogs and get them to stop running around in a panic and barking. Then I had the great fun of cleaning up a pretty substantial amount of vomit and pee (from the dogs, not me).

Then how do you know when it’s done??

We moved into an apartment in October. If I use the broiler in my oven, I also have to turn on the exhaust fan. If I don’t, even if there isn’t any smoke, the smoke detector goes off.

He’s wearing the headphones because he’s embarrassed of something about his ears.

Can’t say I blame him.
