And the thing is Antifa is really a peaceful collection of groups bent on defeating fascism. There is not a national organization as you have with the KKK or other extreme right wing groups. Unlike the horrid descriptions of Antifa as some militant terrorist regime, Antifa is more an ideal than an organization. Most Americans are Antifa, or more properly, antifascists in our beliefs. My parents fought a war against the Axis powers during WWII and we continue to need to be watchful of the fascist thinking and practices amonst us, now. Trump was a fascist leader who longed for the kind of power that Hitler and Mussolini enjoyed. That’s why he had good things to say for other dictators of this world like Kim of N. Korea, and Putin of Russia. He also admires the leaders of the Philippines and China. But, these despots are masters at the kind of dictatorships they wield, while Dump is a poor example and continues to fail in the Presidency as he did in business.

Repugs have a truly remarkable capacity to see themselves as victims even at the moment when they are beating people to death with flagpoles and fire extinguishers.

Rameriz is a brilliant artist. I’m stunned at the quality of his artwork. His ideas and themes are against my politics – remember how he always drew Obama in a golfing outfit? However, this cartoon stands out as a brilliant illustration of the desperation of the GOP to deflect accountability for the MAGA mobs mindset and behaviour.Credit where credit is due. Pulitzer worthy.

Did you see Rep. Taylor-Green and the other QAnon Rep. ranting against impeachment during the hearing yesterday? Green was wearing a mask that said “CENSORED” on it. Quite the show. I say invoke the 14th amendment on them and certain Senators, along with Gaetz, Jim Jordan, et al.
