None of those things are at all important!

What was destroyed was the societally held view that you don’t go around attacking American Institutions, attempting to rip the beating heart right out of the chest of the country just because you’d rather believe the ravings of a compulsive lying traitor than face the truth!

OMG. Reality hads hit. Don’t forget a [p;ice office lost his life. Several deluded followers of the liar died, The fraud in chief caused so much damage it will take some time to repair it. Stay safe. Wear your masks. And most of all stay away from idiots.

I think that it actually, um, “enhanced” isn’t quite right… maybe “enlarged”? Trump’s legacy. It was already a legacy that is worse than I’d ever imagined was possible, and now it’s even more so.

Mr, Ramirez, the Republican Party chose to be destroyed well before this riot – ex. Newt Gingrich’s “Contract on, er, I mean, with America”, Dubya selling out to Evangelicals, the Tea Party movement, and some others… Republicans either fully embracing, or at least appeasing Donald Trump and Trumpism is merely their latest in a long line of self-destructive moves…

Republicans like Trump, Cruz, Gaetz, Nunes, Jim Jordan, Louis Gohmert, are standing on the backs of the poor and the working people. Those republicans don’t care how many suffer, how many die, as long as they are the ones on top.

Trumpanzees could care less about the Republican party. Being tarred with that brush will be the deciding factor in how they vote in the next few years. They’ll consider it a badge of honor.

Memo to Republicans: Start asking people what they need. And work on understanding when helping someone is actually helping them, and sometimes it’s better to not help them. Last of all, can’t we just agree demagoguery is terrible regardless of whom is doing it?

Fflashbang: Will you still be smug if Kurt Schlicter’s novels [where the USA breaks up into ‘Red’ and ‘Blue’ areas] comes true?I liked Trump because I knew his policy ideas of bringing back jobs to the USA by lowering EVERYONE’S taxes would work, [and DID work, since they made the USA competitive.] His policy idea of putting tariffs on countries that blocked USA products with high tariffs DID work. His policy idea of blocking the flow of poor people from South America until all U. S. citizens that wanted a job could get a job, DID work, until the China virus hit! [This also helped to block the flow of evil people like MS 13 and their drugs.] Trump proved that he cared more for poor U.S. citizens living in Appalachia and ghettos of Democrat-run cities than the poor of foreign countries. I would expect the President of Mexico to put his citizens first too!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. But we’ll see what happens in the 2022 midterms and/or the 2024 presidential election. Will the spectre of Trump have finally dissipated and the GOP nominate more old school Conservatives? Will the MAGATS decide to form their own party (and perhaps nominate Ted Cruz or FL Gov. Jim DeSantis for Prez) in 2024? Who’s to know? In the world of American politics, one year is an eternity.

Trump; the Pandora’s Box Republicans opened and only now some are wondering “Was this a good idea.” as the blackness engulfs them. Hang in there Mike all the wanna be Tim McVeighs are out there locking and loading and you aided and abetted it. Putin got more out of his investment than he ever imagined he would and you aided and abetted it. Remember your work during the first impeachment when this could all have been checked, when you and the GOP decided that being the “Rule of Law” party was optional if you got to stay in power. And you aided and abetted it. Remember your work on behalf of the Freedom of Speech crowd as social media platforms spread lies and disinformation daily, now that the Treason Weasel in Chief has finally gone “too far”, you may look at the mess and say “Oops.” but you are complicit. You aided and abetted the destruction of the United States.
