The NFL is an “Old Boys Club.” People just move around. No new blood unless someone dies or retires. The head coaches who got fired will turn up as offensive or defensive coordinators somewhere next year or in a broadcast booth until something else comes along. Or maybe somewhere in an indoor league if those still exist. The players not so much, as it looks like it’s just the Raiders who actively recycle, reclaim, and rehabilitate players.

The sad thing is that nobody -from New England or anywhere else – wants to coach Houston at the moment. Houston is where your career goes to die!
