I wonder if the Cook caught his apron on fire when he was cooking up the fries and dumped the lettuce in the oil!!!

Tempura lettuce is probably pretty tasty with the right dip. Ranch or honey mustard would work for me.

Hummmm. There’s a challenge in that. Deep fried lettuce. Crispy and green with a light coating of breading and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. For savory fans, sprinkle with pepper flakes and a light coating of ranch dressing.

Its the only vegetable or fruit that is never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form but fresh.

There’s a specific culinary term for fried lettuce – stringy.

Not too far off from one of my new favorite appetizers – fried/crispy brussel sprouts!

I’d go with the jalapeno green goddess dressing.

Cooked romaine is usually steamed or fried. The chef saves time and uses a quick dip in a deep fryer.

The only thing sillier than fried lettuce is the idea of Eno "watching his cholesterol.
