I’ll have the project done next week, the week after at the latest.

Might consistently be last, but it only has to be done once because it’s done right.

It’s a cruel world. If you do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do, you will sleep well at night.

Nice guys may finish last in your business world Chief but I don’t believe that you can’t be a nice guy and a businessman at the same time. I’ve known too many. That being said, Brutus should thank the boss for the compliment and remind him that nice guys (and gals) will finish first in the end and that is what counts. Can’t take your financial statement into the next life (ask Jacob Marley) but you can take all the good things you did as a “NICE” guy (and gal)…..

Tell your boss that the meek shall inherit the earth.

I like nice guys. I married one, and am happy I did.

This will count when it really matters, at the roll call in Heaven.

I doubt that Brutus realized he just got insulted.

And that makes Brutus superior to the boss in my book.
