There must be a heaven for socks that disappear in the washing-machine.

Our first husky would destroy stuffed toys and rip out the squeaker. Once the squeaker was out he lost interest. I used to grab the squeaker when he wasn’t looking, palm it behind my back and step on the remnants as I squeaked it. He’s go nuts tearing it to shreds.

No there isn’t. However, in Dog Heaven, squeaky toys never break…..

Nobody could make noise like ol’ squeaky. Rest in pieces.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial, try a “Kong” ball. At least they last longer.

Actually, they do make some toys with replaceable squeakers. I think the Kong brand has some of those. Our dog doesn’t destroy things, but squeakers wear out anyway. She’s a tiny dog, so we drop a squeaker into the toe of an old sock and knot the sock. We got a bag of replacement squeakers and simply untie the sock to add a new one when the old one dies. It’s also good when the toy needs washing.

Toys aren’t meant to last forever. Tools are meant to last.

You should have thought of that before you joyfully demolished it.
