My son in Colorado got my Christmas card last week. I mailed it 3 weeks before Christmas!! And that was the postmark on it.

Funny how “snail-mail” can get from the West Coast to the East Coast in three days but mail from a different USPS office in my city, being mailed to a another USPS office that’s only two miles down the road (also in my city), takes five days to be delivered to me!!

My water bill is mailed in the same town and then shipped 150 miles to a different town to be sorted and then shipped back to my post office to be distributed, takes 5-6 days.

That’s just too ridiculous to be funny. Ever since email, the postal mail system has been getting pillaged with attacks and most of them undeserved. As we saw in the last election, the postal system is a very good transporter of votes and all other mail items. Even with their ever increasing first class postage, they’re still a bargain. So long as their leadership is competent and they get support from the government, they should continue serving the nation well.

You’re better off shipping via FedEx or UPS. We’re still waiting for stuff posted from early December which we now think has been lost.

I work for a bank in first-party collections and we had a lot of customers who either didn’t get their statements or if they were the old-fashioned types who mail their payments by check, we weren’t getting the checks. We’ve been getting a lot of calls and have had to waive a lot of late charges. And customers are hollering at us about how they’re always on time and we should know they always pay their bills. Don’t holler at us!!!!! It’s not our fault and it’s not yours either! We can easily credit late charges and if you’re one of those that always pays your statements in full, your interest too!

Trump’s appointee to USPS head job. Another attempt to suppress votes.

Sounds like mail in Tallahassee—one week to go from the eastside of town to the west ! ! ! !

We are sending packages all over the place. One from SE PA went to Omana Nebraska before delivering 80mi up the road in NE PA. Trumps Postmaster working with COVID has fixed everything.

I haven’t noticed U.S. mail getting slower. If anything, it’s become astoundingly fast over my lifetime.

On the other hand, I have noticed how few shootings postal workers commit these days. Must be the good benefits.
