Please, if Congress can’t get him out in the next 12 days, give him daily “vitamin” shots of Thorazine. For the good of the planet.

He’s a psychopath. He is not living in a world where others matter. While the capital was recovering from his rally for sedition, “the coup coup rally” and thousands were dying from covid and their bodybags tagged laying in refrigerated trailers, he was giving out Medals of Freedom to golfers.

Unfortunately his hardcore supporters aren’t imaginary. According to a Gallup poll released yesterday 45% of Republicans support storming the Capitol. That a Gallup poll in October found that only 31% of respondents identified as Republican doesn’t make that less disturbing.

With the deaths his actions no longer seem funny. A Capital officer has died from his injuries after being attacked by the mob. His Thursday video a sham of hypocrisy with a lie he immediately ordered the Guard in…..he refused to activate them while enjoying the show….look at his damn kids tweets….12 days is not soon enough.

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and never liked him. When demoing the building where he was going to build trump tower, he’ll was using Eastern European workers who spoke no English to remove asbestos without any PPE.

The BBC has a film clip of the kids in the corridor, the one where the center one is wearing badly made pants and that ridiculous fur hat with 2 tails and horns. The caption on the clip was “it was like a zombie movie”.

Seriously, there is no longer anything even remotely amusing about his insanity and his UTTER CONTEMPT FOR AMERICA, and all it stands for.

This is like trying to figure out why an earthquake, hurricane or other natural disaster occurred. That might be an interesting academic exercise, for future consideration. But the immediate issue is to repair the damage and do whatever can be done to prevent more damage.

There aren’t many better reasons than this for liking Bolling.

The 2017 Herblock is justified. Mr Bolling needs one of those Pulitzer thingies.

Ruben, as a Calvin and Hobbes fan, I find these parodies hilarious and fabulous! I will miss seeing them when tanTrump is out of power, but not so much that I want to see more than one or two before he leaves for good!

Sadly, I don’t think the disaster of 2020 is over yet. The insurrectionists will continue with increasing violence until we realize that it isn’t only the White House where democracy is being killed. It is also in the Republican Senate with the likes of Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell, and the Republican House, as well as The Supreme Court. Tragically, the entirety of the Republican Party has turned its back on democracy and now embraces fascism. I am not stating this out of any political animus. It is sadly true
