I always send cards that try to be funny, and the recipients always think they’re funny, which just goes to prove that we’re all stupid…but at least we’re happy! 8]

You are all cards, and you’ll be dealt with.

The difference between a donation and a purchase is that with a donation you can have a sense of well being from doing something for the greater good, for a purchase you get … coloring on paper.

Actually – that is more sarcastic than I intended, I like sending and receiving cards, and I do better at one than the other and I value the connection that they bring, even if more virtual than real sometimes. However, it is certainly the case where sometimes the whole card piece feels … mechanical.

Scott, you’re a humorist. You risk being seen as stupid on a regular basis. Why should this be any different?

I am thinking that sending Christmas cards in January would be considered to be a wise-move economically, i.e. you are cheap. (Coincidentally I received a “Holiday” card today, however it was mailed Dec. 6 according to the postmark.)

Should be: “How Not to Have Friends After Christmas by Pushing the Envelope.”
