Wow. I always thought Betty’s EQ was much higher :-/

And then at the end of my day I got literary criticism!

Sometimes she does seem to over think things.

The Buckets shows one way to wind down.

Sort of like the evening news.

I dunno… I’ve always thought having (or offering) a safe and sympathetic place to rant was part of the deal.

Unless it’s truly constant, to the detriment of the ranter’s mental health… which might need to be pointed out … but probably afterward…

or includes any blame, or abuse of the listener… in which case it’s an attack, not a rant.

I know we don’t see them every minute, and they’re “only” cartoon characters…

but Bub hasn’t been portrayed as constantly negative, or as turning his pent-up rage on Betty when he rants.

He’s not looking for psychoanalysis or criticism…

but simply for some accepting arms.

I think she’s being pretty harsh.

What is Betty’s point?

No sense talking to Betty, she does not care anyway.

Wow, just like politics.

Here’s a rant for you: I just found out that one of my checks to pay a bill, which I know I mailed out in plenty of time, apparently got lost in the mail. The company I sent it to quite rightly are charging me a “late fee”. This morning I called my bank to void the lost check, and they are charging me a whopping $32 to void it and I have to either go in the sign a form, or print out a form they E-Mail me, sign it and mail it back to them. So, I’m being charged from both ends of this, and I haven’t done anything wrong! Sheesh!

Next up, why don’t you ever talk to me?

Betty is someone I wouldn’t care for as a friend, much less a spouse.
