The lampshade could explain why he has bad aim in the bathroom.

In some science fiction, a cone of silence is a real (fictional) thing that prevents people from using tech to hear what you’re talking about. You do have to make sure they can’t read your lips though.

This must be confusing to the kid. Lampshades on the head in cartoons always means someone got drunk at a party.

Nelson never has friends over and his dad never visits. His mom doesn’t date.

Roscoe’s all too familiar with what it means to have a cone around your neck.

The shade protects Earl’s eyes. The Earplugs his ears. Now nag away Opal ;-)

Just like The Unknown Comic but with a lampshade over his head instead of a paper bag.

Grampa? What Grampa? There’s no Grampa here. If only Earl could use the Force – “This is not the Grampa you’re looking for.” “This is not the husband you’re looking for.” “This is not the Earl you’re looking for.”

A cone of silence will be issued to you when you get married.

It probably works better than the Cone of Silence on Get Smart. That one rarely worked properly.

That dogs experience with a cone was right after he was neutered… probably hoping the same is not gonna happen to Nelson.

The routine surrounding the Cone of Silence — that Max would insist on using it, even as the Chief tried to tell him that it wasn’t working — was among the funniest bits of business on a very funny show!
