Heart of the City by Steenz for January 18, 2021

We’ve all been there.

This happens a lot on Mondays but today its MLK Day so in the real world Heart and Kat can sleep in!

I’m kind of getting used to Kat wearing glasses.

I’m amazed Heart can be ready for school in 30 minutes.

Thinking I can do without the drool in the second panel , lol .

In my parts, middle school doesn’t start until 9:00am… Heart would be able to get a lot more sleep

I was a sleep drooler (panel 2) as a kid too. In HS on the team bus on the way home from a game I fell asleep. Yep, I woke up with about six of the guys staring at a big gob dribbling off my chin.

Those who are District 5 wise make sure they do not get infected with Lisa Salter’s pathogens that spread like a cheap magician’s trick in a Las Vegas poker game..

My father-in-law used to say, “You can sleep when you’re dead.” He always had useful advice like that to offer.

Means their staying up too late. They might be nightowls.

It’s good to see Heart wear something different than her flats. Maybe she should do something different with her hair. She looked great at that party.
