Not watching the news would be fine if nothing happened but there is a constant fear that something will happen such as war with Iran.

… and NOW he’s bomb-rattling about Iran. Sigh. (I HOPE “sigh” is appropriate, rather than OMG!!)

Good on you mate, some people are waiting for the next election.

The problem is, until Joe’s in and Donald’s not, we’ve been primed that anything can happen. Latest little factoid: Should Republican Senators and Representatives raise enough stink Wednesday, that could force yet another ten day delay – as yet another audit and recount is forced to take place.

Just think – we’ll be up to 16-Jan and Republicans will still be saying Joe’s not the president elect – all the while, still denying him access to transition assets and briefings.

And all the while, with Trump still able to declare war on Iran – just for spite.

And even if he doesn’t, Iran just might pick the fight with us. Just for spite.

I admit. I was fired twice in my life. Something in those two incidents that stuck with me: Once it was decided that I had to go, I went. I was greeted with a box on my desk and a security guard to make sure I didn’t even get to say goodbye to anybody who had been my friends.

Just “get your stuff and get out.”

Thanks to Donald Trump, I’ve been wondering if that would be the best way to handle this situation, too. Since we do have that extra step of the Electoral College, maybe that should be the day that the man who was fired was evicted from 1600 Pennsylvania…

The thing in my house that makes the wait appear “interminable” is having to constantly reassure my wife, with EVERY increasingly stupid and asinine attempt of the Trump (republican) party to keep the money flowing from the idiots, imbeciles and morons into the pockets of the Trump family to “support” the increasingly ridiculous claims of “voter fraud” – to reassure her that they have NO CHANCE of derailing the peaceful and orderly transition of power to the 46th president of the United States!

She is not a political “junkie” like me and tends to believe idiots that happen to be “well known” that have absolutely no credibility in matters of Constitutional law.

It’s going to drive me to drink if the 20th of January doesn’t get here, soon!

I think some moderation is in order here. You need to be informed, but you don’t need to wallow in it.

It would certainly go easier if the politicians would stop hitting us up for donations. Maybe after the 5th.

I really don’t know what the rush is; the senile old hair sniffer has already warned us that dark times are coming. He’s such an inspiration!

Different is not necessarily better.

I am getting pretty tired of those civil servants we hired bickering amongst themselves. Stop monkeying around and get back to your jobs. Identify vital things to do with my taxes and start balancing the budget. …yeah both!

The only news I seem to see is the COVID death toll and Trump’s desperate desire to torch the Constitution.

Admittedly, I’ve been abnormally glued to the news, waiting for it (last 4-years) to finally be over. Just when you think the stupid stuff should be put to bed, more #$%^ hits the airwaves and print. I want this nightmare to end.

Biden will hold the record for having won the same election more times than any other president in history.

Conversely Trump will hold the record for having LOST the same election more times than any other president in history.

Indiana Jones and the quest to escape delusional Trumpanzees. Hopefully that show is cancelled, no reruns after January 20.

The last panel is foreshadowing the next administration.

Biden will be sworn in on 1/20, but how long before he moves into the White House, or even dares set foot in it? It is going to need a thorough disinfecting. Not just metaphorically, though that applies, too, but literally. After a year of unmasked idiots in the place, it is a superspreader site.

Now it is OUR turn to suffer for four years, I guess. One thing to hope for is that now that Wiley has his preferred candidate in the White House, he’ll quit with the political sniping and get back to just making funny cartoons again.

I’m just trying to make it through the GA Senate runoffs….

I have better things to worry about like dying from a pandemic. Not even the Republicans in office are paying attention to the President so why are the Trump haters? They’re giving the President more power than he has in reality.

Or we could have 100% bullet proof elections where no fraud is taking place. But then why would we impose the same ideals on ourselves that Iraq has with the marked finger to only allow one vote per (legal) individual.
