Remote ‘teaching’ is doing damage to the most vulnerable sector of students. If they don’t get back in the classrooms they will be left further and further behind.
If it really were home schooling, chances are excellent that it’d be drenched in religion. Fortunately, the public schools don’t play favorites with people’s consciences.
Online instruction is difficult and I sympathize with teachers, but administrators had many months to prepare and they botched it. The schools need to be reopened!
