I took Mac, my son, to the airport this morning for his flight back to Conservatory. The ‘fun’ part was seeing the way 3 cats looked at me when I got up at 5:00 a.m. to leave…as they continued to lay in the warm bed…and the look of smug, superiority they had on their furry little faces.

Well, little miss Primrose loves to be petted and held. She’ll just melt in my arms.

My cats play this game, and I can confirm that the existence of the straw (or ponytail holder, or bottle cap, or Q-tip) does indeed end, when it disappears under the refrigerator.

Existence is infinitely mutable.

THIS JUST IN!!! Snow is falling in our streets. We have just received confirmed reports of children playing in it. Some adults are grumpy. This reported fails to understand why.

For a great homemade cat toy get a Slurpee straw and poke a small hole in one end, tie it to line or string and pull it about the house. The combination of noise and movement will drive your cat wild!

Straws are purrfect cat toys.

What is it with cats liking everything as a toy but toys themselves. Got my three cats toys that are on a stick for Christmas one year and never played that much with them. Cupcake loved playing with balled up gum wrappers that she would bat around with her paws. Kitt doesn’t go play with anything unless it is paper towel, napkin or tissue that you have in your hands. Loki goes after his own tail cause he thinks it is his enemy.
