Well Adam’s puns are all Wright with me.

Sight puns don’t carry onto voice platforms.

“…You got the WRITE guy!”

But the wrong joke writer.

Write on!

I got it write away!

Try to say either word by sounding out all the letters and you won’t make any sense at all

Not making sense is common for Adam

It’s only a pun that’s right when you write it down!

When everyone understands the pun, it will be his rite of passage

This is the same reason that sarcasm gets people in so much trouble when they read it instead of hearing it.

My grandmother told me that puns were the lowest form of humor. Then we’d sit around and swap puns until we had driven all the other family members out of the room.

“What? No, my name is not Author!”

If she saw the bubble, she would have gotten the pun….

Perhaps if you spell it out.

He needs to insert a “significant pause” somewhere. Say just before the “the”.

“You’ve got … the write guy.”

If he doesn’t get another job will it be his last writes?

Sometimes you get The Write Stuff; sometimes you get “The Stuff that’s Left”.

In business matters, at least, never pun with someone you don’t know well. You don’t know how it will be perceived.

I think the best background music for this cartoon would be “The Rite of Spring” by Stravinsky.
