Strange new year for a lot of people

I sure don’t miss hangovers

He was visited by the ghost of New Years past.

This is like the end of an age.

He sounds a bit like Scrooge!

And you’re already going through withdrawals.

Here in British Columbia, our provincial health officer has banned the sale of alcohol on New Year’s Eve after 8pm. (My wife and I approve—why is it necessary to get loaded, or to be in a big group, in order to “celebrate” a calendar event?)
