For years my father touched his toes every day to stay slim. Then he found out it didn’t help lose weight, but of course it did help stay flexible. He played tennis until age 77 and lived to 94, so it sure didn’t hurt.
The people that promote “speed yoga” crack me up. They manage to make contemplative stretching into something resembling a competitive sport. If you “win” at yoga, you are doing it wrong.

Well, yes and no… some of my fav classes were 30 min ones… and in Insia they have a history of yoga competitions…
