“Phylum” from taxonomy in the olden days. I always used this memory aide: Kirk’s Phaser Can Only Fire Green Slime. Now we have, “Later Data Kirk’s Phaser Can Only Fire Green Slime.”
I remember my sister complaining about how boring Hooked on Phonics was. It helped her learn to read, but it wasn’t a fun game for kids.
