Fake comics. Pfizer has not taken federal money for R&D activities related to developing the vaccine.

Lisa, Pfizer funding came from Germany. Not the U.S. Your dear leader can take no credit.

I’m really hoping the Oxford vaccine comes through since it is a far cheaper and logistically simpler solution. Issues with their clinical trials aside. Fingers crossed.

Vaccines don’t do any good unless people take them. Stressing how rapidly they were developed undercuts peoples confidence in their safety. And between the Q anon idiots and anti-vaxxers, the science that delivered this miracle is itself under siege.

I have to admit that I’m a little skeptical of these vaccines because of how fast they were developed. The government pumped a lot of money into the bio companies so they felt extra urgency to come up with something. At least they’re being honest and telling people that most will experience side effects. The big question will only be answered with time. How long will the vaccine work?

Pfizer gave a statement that they accepted no government funds and developed the vaccine on their own initiative.

PLEASE - Pfizer did not take any Operation Warp Speed money, no matter how much Lame Duck Liar would like you to believe that it did. They could sue you for defamation. :)

In 2009 my son Jason caught H1N1 at Comic Con in San Diego. His death caused many people at our church to rush to get their kids and themselves vaccinated against the virus. How was there already a vaccine for that?

How can anyone trust Right Wing media with all the disinformation they publish. Pfizer has nothing to do with “Operation Warp Speed” or any kind of US funding towards it’s research. Give Germany and Angela Merkel the credit they deserve.

It must be sad to have to make everything you see about slamming Trump or someone else. Some people have to fix the blame. Others fix the problem. Who cares who funded it? The thing got through the red tape in record time and if it works as anticipated will save many lives.

I think we should all take the time to recognize the amazing scientific work that went into developing these vaccines. We are in the middle of the greatest period of scientific discovery ever, in many different fields. I’m not a scientist, but I do try to pay attention to at least some small fraction of what’s going on. Science should be at the foundation of education for everyone. Everyone should know how science works, what it can do and also what it can’t do, its great benefits and also its dangers. Yea, science!!!

But but but, Trump did it all by himself! Why are these companies “Pfizer” and “Moderna” getting any credit?

A friend of mine reminded me that Pfizer invented Viagra; he said if they can invent a way to raise the dead, they can surely invent a vaccine for Covid 19.

‘Warp Speed’. Does that apply to the spread of the disease due to the warping of the American psyche? Or to the speed which the Orangeotan gets his ass to the golf course instead of convincing his base to use their noodles? Serendipity does not equal good planning and direction.

I am glad a vaccine is going to be available soon. The “Right” seemingly wants a “W” for Trump to justify their unwavering support of a morally reprehensible grifter. The problem I have with the vaccine is that like solutions to so many problems it’s reactive rather than proactive. A real “success” would not include 270000+ deaths.

Lisa is again showing her amazing commitment to telling the truth (zero, like all Trump Disciples).

As pointed out by several comments above, Pfizer was not part of Warp Speed.

    .

So then the question is: Is Lisa that ignorant, stupid, or is she LYING again?

The only thing your President is currently doing at WARP SPEED is possibly suggesting to some to make a donation and get a pardon for a loved one . I’m sure it’s a HOAX . . . . . . . /s

Operation “Warp Speed” is just a bunch of BS and you know it. Pfizer didn’t participate and, while the funding from the U.S. helped Moderna, it wasn’t the driving force behind their vaccine. Just more Trump con and self aggrandizement.
