    I recall waiting for a streetcar on Market Street in San Francisco with a co-worker. She was holding onto me so she wouldn’t blow away.

    Change is a funny thing. People don’t like it; it challenges them and makes them think. When it comes down to it. People don’t like to think and gladly hand over the task to people who tell them what they want to hear.

    Furthermore, human memory is fallible; we tend to remember positive things and forget the negative things. Therefore the past is always remembered more fondly than the present is accepted.

    So what happened to our “golden age?” Change!
