Except it’s more like the American people wrestling the torch away from the sewer rat, who won’t willingly part with it, and giving it to Joe.

Nice metaphor. Except he’s NOT passing the torch, just (barely) relinquishing it. And it’s NOT a torch (though it was when it was handed to him, and it will be again, we hope), it’s a twitter-feed.

If Trump ever does “pass the torch”, he’ll piss on it first and then drag it through the bottom of the swamp.

It’s easy to see what Trump and the traitorous bunch that are supporting him are after. If they can somehow manage to get one state to flip, then they will go after the rest. This is an attempted coup. When this is over, they all should be sent to federal prison for life. They hate democracy. This proves it beyond a doubt.

While there’s no doubt Democrats approached that election way too casually. Frankly, they couldn’t see past the buffoonery and sheer cruelty of Trump or imagine that anyone could possibly go for that, so they didn’t do the work. BUT, there is also no doubt that the interference by the Russians contributed to his win. And of course, the GOP was masterful in disenfranchising masses of voters back then. The reason Biden won is equally manifold. Biden went to places Hillary should have, we were far more aware of cyberattacks (and prepared), and we would not allow the GOP to quietly get away with all their outrageous efforts to sabotage voters.

Well, the Pa. Supreme Court has kicked out ANOTHER BOGUS LAWSUIT by the Republicans in their feeble attempt to STEAL THE ELECTION. I think that now makes trump something like 1 for 33 in the courts…

    1) One of those pairs of hands are drawn too large. 2) The only way the treasonweasel would “pass” the torch is if Biden was handing him a billion dollars in small unmarked bills along with a gold "t’ cross so the narcissist could walk around crying about how he had to carry everyone’s burden.

Trump is setting up for a run in 2024. Of course, that seems deranged at the current time. But Trump’s plague isn’t going to magically disappear when Biden takes office. It is out of control and we can only wear our masks, stay away from other people and hope for the vaccine to really work. The way to make a plague disappear is to never let it get out of control in the first place. Trump cut the team that Obama set up to do out of the 2018 budget.

We also have a financial mess crated by Trump’s failure to manage the pandemic, or even make a legitimate effort to do so. This is going to take years and a massive effort to correct. Small businesses are closing, people are out of work. Managing to avoid a depression like the 1930’s is going to be the goal. Returning to normal is a dream.

Now, when we don’t have sunshine and lollipops by the first of March, the media will start picking at Biden’s administration. Mistakes will be made, and they will highlight them instead of the good being done— because they get better ratings. And, frankly, because we need to know about those mistakes.

The Republicans have created messes every time they have had the White House in my memory, which means that we can’t make any progress because the entire Democratic administration has to be dedicated to repairing the damage. Since we will still be digging out of the mess the Republicans left in 2024, there is a good chance that people will be stupid enough to put them back in the White House, so they can create more mess for the next Democrat to get stuck with.

Whatever you do next, President-elect Biden, DO NOT touch that thing the tangerine tubesteak down in the sewer is extending out to you until it has been deep cleaned, fumigated, deep cleaned once more, fumigated again (then if still stinking deep cleaned/fumigated in a continuous cycle until all tRump stench is finally removed), and finally subjected to far UVC-light to exterminate all likely COVID transferred from the sewer creature.

Listened to Trump on FOX NEWS this morning. He’s still totally thinks he can have the Supreme Court overturn the election results in six states and be re-elected. Keeps saying “EVERYBODY KNOWS” it was a fraudulent election. It was sad and pathetic to watch as he continued to commit political suicide. The world watched a lunatic that proved without a doubt he is the worst President that they’ve ever seen.
