Oh for pittysake. They’re guidelines. And they’re SMART guidelines (except if they were the very best, the number would be zero from outside your pod). However nobody is going to be enforcing them, and nobody has actually suggested they WOULD be enforcing them. Too bad that Summers thinks they’re a bad idea, but she’s in big (if not good) company. I have come to the conclusion there are approximately 180 million US people who are basically moronic. A few of them are listening to and following good advice. Far too many are acting on horrible advice.

Trump Disciples like Summers HATE efforts to slow the pandemic.

They all follow Their Messiah in His efforts to sabotage any and all efforts to respond to the pandemic.

    Because herd mentality.

And thirteen now, with the cops there!

It’s a good thing they’re a White family or there’d be some blood mixed with the gravy.

The actual fact is that law enforcement has not been enforcing any regulations. Our own P.D. has put out a public statement that they will not. So . . . exaggeration much?

People who want to gather in crowds of more than 10 have the option of doing so by volunteering at their local hospital or food line, they need the help.

The thing you got wrong with this cartoon, the thing that would make this this scenario more likely to actually happen is if the family was black.

Oh, for God’s sake. According to the latest data, 70% of new infections come from HOMES. If you bring people together who can then infect their separate communities, you are SPREADING DISEASE. Is that clear enough for you, Mr. Summers?

You guys do know this is a comic strip, right? People have lost their sense of humor, and if you don’t find this humorous then move on to Garfield.

Anyone who has electricity is aware of the fact that social gatherings are spreading a disease that is killing people at an increased rate, worldwide. But, many people choose to believe that it is some sort of liberal plot and are refusing to follow the guidelines that will help more of us survive this and get it over faster. Anyone who draws a cartoon, writes an article, or any way influences public opinion, has a responsibility to try to make the death rate decrease. Drawing a cartoon which does the opposite is morally irresponsible.

The police busting in on a white family that looks like they are from a norman rockwell painting. Pretty implausible regardless of any other factors.

But if you show them your papers (signed loyalty oath to Trump, Republican voter registration, receipts from donations to Trump PACs) then it’s all okay…

Here’s a solution… have people sign waivers if they are so inconvenienced by doing their part to help get rid of this virus… then if they catch it they are not allowed to take up a hospital bed or ventilator.
